Background

I have spent the past 22 years working in compliance and industrial health and safety, human resources, and operational management roles.

Throughout my working years, I focused on developing skills in business, human resources management and occupational safety and health. I have worked in both general industry and consulting roles over this time.

I have undertaken undergraduate and graduate courses of study in Business Studies and Occupational Safety & Health at Massey University, and have completed a number of short courses to increase my skills in general safety & risk, emergency management and auditing.

I hold the following professional certifications:

Professional Member - New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM);
Registered Health and Safety Professional - Health and Safety Association (HASANZ);
Associate Member - Institute of Directors New Zealand (IoD).

I am a passionate advocate for safety best practice and for mentoring, training, and coaching others to self-sufficiency. I have a wealth of knowledge in risk management, investigations, compliance and audit and assurance, alongside skills in training and coaching.
