Background

I am by nature a solutions-based person with the ability to identify both actual and potential safety issues in a wide range of environments and provide practical advice on how identified issues may be resolved. Originally from a trades and project management background I have an in-depth understanding of the balance between keeping workers safe and still completing the work efficiently.

My experience within the Construction, Manufacturing and Renewable Energy industries has seen me involved in the construction, operation and maintenance of some of New Zealand's major generating assets. This includes a direct involvement in the construction and commissioning of over 20% of the countries installed wind turbine fleet from tender to hand over.

With a diverse and wide range of experience I can offer my clients a tailored solution by providing real-world and up to date advice on safety and compliance issues by applying my knowledge and skills to their specific needs. This can involve anything from on site observations, supervision and audits through to detailed reports on a targeted area.

As an experienced Lead ICAM investigator I have managed a wide range of detailed and complex investigations. I have the ability to provide a well reasoned and level approach to investigations and have a large range of contacts to call upon should subject matter experts be required to provide an opinion.
