Pam has 20 years’ experience working in the private and public health sectors in New Zealand including both clinical and managerial roles. She and her husband worked together in their own surgical practice for many years. Pam was responsible for the overall strategy, planning, health and safety, staffing, training and financial management aspects of the business.
Pam has also worked in banking, insurance, and youth justice as well as undertaking a number of voluntary roles in the community. This voluntary work includes working in the Seasons for Growth Programme for more than 10 years supporting young people experiencing loss or grief. Outside the work environment, Pam has project managed multiple residential building renovations.
As a registered Occupational Therapist with a Master of Business Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Emergency Management Pam's business has a two-pronged approach
- A focus on individual health and well-being at home, in the community or in the workplace
- A focus on organisational crisis management and business continuity.
She is currently working with organisations to develop and run table top scenario exercises to test their crisis management and business continuity plans. Pam understands the importance of working with clients to ensure that her services focus on their values and are tailored to meet their needs and objectives.
