Donna Burt
Background
Donna Burt has worked as a health and safety professional for more than 20 years. A Registered Nurse she has worked as a consultant and employee in a variety of industries including government, local government, construction, agriculture, manufacturing and healthcare. She has worked for WorkSafe NZ as an Assessment Manager and a Project Manager in the Canterbury Rebuild Programme. Donna holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences (Otago Uni) and lectures in the post graduate health and safety papers at Otago University. Known for her down to earth and pragmatic approach to health and safety, Donna's specialty area is occupational health and she is a member of the HASANZ/NZOHNA Workforce Development Project.
