Background

Much of my career over the past 25 years has been associated with commercial arboricultural operations in relation to civic, electrical, highway & rail network asset management. By starting out on the tools and progressing into contract and then corporate business management, I have accumulated considerable experience in high risk, safety & time-critical works from both operational, and management perspectives.

My current role as an independent workplace health & safety advisor has enabled me to work with a range of commercial sectors and operations ranging from sole trader businesses through to corporates, charitable trusts and SOE’s. In addition to developing and implementing workplace safety management systems, I have experience in operational auditing, incident investigation, and contractor prequalification.
