Chartered Health and safety professional with 25 years extensive career experience in OH&S group management in manufacturing, maritime, banking, healthcare, engineering, trade industries, science and research, central and local government and health and safety regulation and professional consultancy.
I am a Chartered Fellow with IOSH and a Certified Fellow with NZISM. Managing Director of van Schaik (VS) Health and Safety Solutions Ltd, a boutique H&S consultancy with a nationwide team of H&S professionals providing health and safety governance, leadership, and technical consultancy services across New Zealand.
I am a member of the Institute of Directors and hold a number of community-based governance roles.
