Al Threlfall is the Occupational Hygienist for 3M's Personal Safety Division providing advice on the application of 3M's products to workplaces across New Zealand.
He has been practicing Occupational Hygiene for 8 years, primarily in the Australian mining industry specialising in underground hard rock mining and metals processing.
He has also worked on three of the largest construction projects in Australian history including time spent as the principal hygienist for the Ichthys Onshore Project.
As a consultant he has worked on Health Risk projects across mining, manufacturing, offshore oil & gas and aviation. Al holds a Masters of OHS and Masters of Science (Occupational Hygiene Practice) backed up by a decade of experience in Outdoor Education facilitating and leading programs in Australia, the United Kingdom and North America.
