Kyle O'Keeffe BHSc

Background

I offer the insight gained over many years of experience providing paramedic services. I also have experience in manufacturing/engineering and specialist areas including custodial situations.

My past roles have included working as a member of operations teams through to managing professionals, operating in high-risk environments. I enjoy working with individuals, teams and organisations with career highlights, including high-level events and health, and developing health and safety cultures. I also have a passion for workplace training for adults and youth.

I offer a balanced understanding of the many challenges facing businesses. My skillset includes simplifying solutions to help small and medium businesses navigate safety and wellbeing, including training and staff development needs. I enjoy supporting businesses in all health and safety matters including setting up emergency management systems, Drug policies, risk management and training and supporting staff to achieve safety goals.

My qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in health science, a level 6 diploma in health and safety management and  a national diploma in adult education.  I am a member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management as a health and safety professional.
