Background
Originally from a small town, Runanga on the West Coast, I am the eldest of 9 children. I have lived and nursed in the Gore community for the past 25 years. Having worked as a practice nurse for 20 years in GP settings, I was ready for my next challenge.
I have completed extensive post graduate studies, with my biggest achievements being a Master’s in nursing and a Diploma in Addictions Counselling.
I established Workplace Safety Southland in 2014 and have gone from strength to strength since. I provide a wide range of occupational health services enjoying the diversity of the mix of vast industries that I work with, ranging from small workplaces of 1-2 staff to several hundred.
My key services are Pre-employment medicals, health monitoring, flu vaccination, first aid training , workstation assessments, and return to work programmes.
I travel around Otago and Southland as required.
