She has extensive experience in a wide range of industries such as trades, general labouring, manufacturing, warehousing and transportation, retail, travel, building, hospitality, health and administration.
Tricia considers early intervention and prevention as the key factor in eliminating injury, strains/sprains and gradual process injuries and reducing the impact of aged-related disorders, stress, mental health and absenteeism in the workplace.
Prevention is a focus of all training as: HSWA (2015); Injury prevention, manual handling, exercises, work method, work organisation and flow, optimising workstation/equipment to fit the worker; prevention of falls and stress management etc.
'Early return to work' and collaboration with all those involved with the injured person is considered one key to minimising lost days at work.
