Background

I have been working since 2013 in Occupational Hygiene and Asbestos, specialising in workplace exposure assessments, noise, and asbestos management.  I am a IP402 Certified Asbestos Surveyor and Licensed WorkSafe NZ Asbestos Assessor.  I am a Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant at Chemsafety. 

I have strong skills in occupational hygiene services and have completed work with a wide variety of New Zealand business and industries. I have experience in undertaking workplace exposure assessments and devising suitable monitoring strategies. I have particular experience in monitoring for particulates (dusts, diesel particulate matter and crystalline silica), solvents, gasses (including carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen dioxide and ammonia), metals, heat stress, noise, bacteria and fungi. I also routinely undertake indoor air quality (IAQ) of workspaces which can involve a combination of the substances listed above.

I also have significant experience in the asbestos industry and can undertake a broad range of your asbestos needs such as asbestos surveys, post-removal clearance inspections and contamination assessments.
