Background

I am a health and safety professional  with extensive experience in workplace health and safety. I have a proven track record in safety management in complex, unique and dynamic environments. I hold NZISM Professional membership, and possess Exemplar Global Lead Auditor. Quality Management Systems (8084) qualifications.

My specialist area are health and safety systems auditing, safety maturity assessment, Governance tools and management. I was a member of the combined NZ Universities, crown research Institute and Worksafe working party of delivering guidance for such institutions to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations.  

As a generalist health and safety professional, I have a thorough, up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand Health and Safety legislation and Regulation. I have significant experience in the writing of, and the delivery of policies, procedures, risk assessments, guidelines and reports to ensure senior management is informed of, and can measure their Due Diligence, and to inform and instruct workers to ensure overall safety management.
