Background
I have always loved working with and helping others, so naturally gravitated towards health and safety as a career, which led to becoming a qualified Occupational Health and Safety professional.
Working as the Safety Manager within Safe & Sound Solutions, I am continuing to gain a wealth of knowledge in real-world safety and occupational hygiene industry, and thoroughly enjoy helping NZ businesses to create, develop and implement proactive changes to ensure everyone gets home safely to their families each day.
With a wealth of experience across multiple industries (such as Construction, Civil, Agriculture, Forestry, Tourism, Manufacturing and more), I have learned to be adaptable and tailor solutions to meet specific needs. My effective communication skills enable me to engage with clients and stakeholders, fully understanding their objectives to develop tailored solutions. This approach has proven highly effective, resulting in improved safety outcomes and increased productivity.
I have an in-depth knowledge of NZ legislative requirements in Health and Safety and the relevant supporting Regulations and Guidelines.
