Background

Having worked in production, general management and health and safety roles in manufacturing, transport, construction, and rental service industries, I understand that health and safety looks different in every business; there is no one size that fits all. 

As a consultant I work alongside businesses to help them understand what good health and safety practice looks like, and how to get there.  I can review existing safety management systems, identify gaps in performance, recommend improvements, and provide the roadmap and guidance to get there.  I tailor the system to meet the business needs and coach those in the business to embed it into business-as-usual activities.  

I am trained in safety, quality and environment and am competent working with industry and standards certification processes, and continuous improvement practices.

With sound communication skills and a personable style, I can equally discuss risk with board and senior managers or work with the team to coach and upskill internal team capabilities.  I am versatile and willing to take the lead role or be the workhorse behind the scenes.
