Background

Experienced Health, Safety, and Risk consultant with a proven, international track record. I’ve been involved in the provision of occupational safety and health services for more than 15 years across various industries that include corporate, hospitality, retail, construction, forestry, vocational education, and ports.

Having worked internationally, I have been exposed to high-risk industries with critical risks where the management of people and processes is essential. I have experience working in diverse complex organizations, where I have implemented safety management systems to ensure risks and hazards are managed to an appropriate standard.

My strengths are combining strategic management skills with strong interpersonal skills, high personal integrity, and the ability to motivate. I have a proven aptitude to negotiate, influence and manage at both operational and strategic levels. I remain passionate about improving occupational health and safety outcomes that ultimately benefit all New Zealand workplaces.
