Background

Roya is a proficient Safety & Health Advisor & Consultant with New Zealand and International experience in Health and Safety in a range of workplaces and Environmental Monitoring. These include Health and Safety Management Systems, Health and Safety Policy development and advice, and Workplace Assessment.

As a skilled consultant, with more than 25 years’ experience, Roya works in partnership with the client to create side by side professional solutions, aligning values with practice, reliably.

Her value comes from realising the significant connection between the workplace health and safety programme and worker productivity and its direct link to business efficiency. With upholding and ensuring the health and safety of those in the workplace as her guiding principle, Roya has built a solid career advising clients on how to achieve an efficient health and safety programme, one that is robust and implementable at every level.

She has been a Freelance Consultant and Manager for Health, Safety & Occupational Health (OHSAS 18001 recently ISO 45001), Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), Public Health, Sustainability Reporting (SR), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and online research in Malaysia. 

Roya has worked extensively in the field of radiation monitoring as an advisor for radiation protection protocols, as well as environment radiation monitoring and radiation protection.

She has knowledge and experience in science, chemical and physical analysis laboratories, skilled in general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025). Roya also served as a Development Technical Committee Member for the development of 3 National Standards, as well as achieved three registrations of companies’ patent rights in Iran.
