Background
I am currently providing occupational health and safety services as a self-employed OHS Consultant for many businesses and organizations of all sizes in the Nelson and Tasman region, including the Tasman District Council and the Nelson City Council.
Safeguard Magazine’s current State of the Nation survey shows that 78% of respondents believe that Health and Safety Performance in New Zealand is improving, though more than half of the respondents still do not think that Health and Wellbeing of workers is taken seriously in this country. My aim is to promote a change of focus from paper-based compliance to a concerted effort to improve the complete Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture in New Zealand workplaces.
I strongly believe that my passion and determination to encourage and achieve a positive safety culture would be beneficial for any business or organization.
