I am a senior health and safety professional with a wide range of experience in the areas of health and safety, quality and management both nationally and internationally, across a number of industries, including: aviation, engineering, education, manufacturing and infrastructure.

My qualifications include:

• MBA – Wollongong University
• ICAM trained investigator
• Lead Auditor
• Diploma in Aerospace Engineering (Engineering Apprenticeship)
• NZ Institute of Safety Management – Graduate Member
• RiskNZ – Member
• Institute of Risk Management (UK) – Certified Member

I am experienced in the development, implementation and subsequent auditing of health and safety policies and procedures including:

·      Safety Management Systems (SMS);

·      Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP);

·      Emergency Response Planning (ERP);

·      Risk Management Policy/Procedures; and

·      Health, Safety and Wellbeing Framework.

I was part of the management team that implemented the new Major Hazard Facility Regulations into an organisation in 2018.

As an educator, I have taught to Masters level in Quality Management and Bachelors in Engineering Management during my time in the Middle East.

I enjoy working in the areas of Risk Management and Resilience and have provided workshops at board and senior management level working to introduce strong risk management processes and understanding into organisations.
