Senior Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Adviser with a focus on worker engagement and providing organisational awareness and education on Health and Safety risk management. Current role in the HSW Unit of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT) involves providing leaders with risk management capabilities and tools through inductions, workshops, briefs, and presentations. The main topic has been on managing psychosocial risk and looking after the wellbeing of staff. Over the last 12 months I have also played a crucial role in providing Covid 19 support and advice to our offshore network. I wish to work in a large organisation where I can use my experience and interpersonal skills to enhance organisational safety and the wellbeing of its people.
My values are learning, persistence, acting with integrity and compassion, and striving for impact.
