Tēnā koutou
Health and Safety are inseparable and by utilising experiences in this sphere of work, with that knowledge I have learnt how much more effective I can be in supporting businesses. Understanding how to integrate processes for businesses that 'large' are vastly different to 'small' (SMEs). Through applying key principles, including understanding the routes of communication, enables workers and managers to be supported towards, and in best practice. It goes without saying, open and encouraging leadership, that 'walks the talk', is a cornerstone to continuous improvement. I myself am embarking on a journey of learning Tikanga and think the inclusive nature of Te Ao Māori will add to success of all H&S mahi.
My background is health and I have worked in the past as a labour department Inspector and within many sectors, manufacturing, farming, construction, government departments and had roles training, H&S advisory, and consultancy work. I am committed and enjoy working with PCBU's to find appropriate outcomes that meet and go beyond standards.
Ngā mihi
