Bruce has worked in health & safety for over 30 years.


He is an Environmental Health Officer and served in the British Army for 23 years, as an Environmental Health Professional.

Expertise/experience in H&S and environmental management systems; monitoring food safety & public health protection.

Bruce has developed H&S policies/procedures, conducted and reviewed risk assessments in the military and a large multi-national civil engineering consultancy. An experienced trainer, he has delivered IOSH approved courses across a variety of industries and to personnel across the management spectrum.

Bruce provides support and advice to Beca's senior management on H&S and is adept at engaging with staff at all levels. Bruce provides advice to employees and managers around psychological wellness, stress and fatigue.

He has drafted & delivered asbestos awareness training and incident investigation training (based on the ICAM principles).

Bruce provides consultancy services for clients including auditing H&S systems, policies & procedures to review compliance. He also undertakes site health and safety audits to monitor and report back on contractor's health and safety performance and sub-contractor management.
