Background

I am a Health, Safety and Quality professional and leader, I am passionate about safety, health and the environment and involving and upskilling people to ensure that everyone goes home safely every day is important to me.

Integrity and commitment is important to me along with action, results and quality. I understand that safety; quality and risk management extend beyond compliance and that creating and maintaining a proactive safety culture is critical to ensuring the safety of staff, contractors, customers and suppliers.

I have a proven track record of providing effective all-round Health and Safety advice which includes risk management on a daily basis.

I liaise regularly with all levels of people within the business and communicate clearly, direction across a business, translating them into pragmatic business plans and able to effectively evaluate safety performance and driving a proactive approach to safety and most importantly of all seeking the advice of the workers to ensure that all solutions are practical and that the experts of whom are doing the job are involved.

I have an in-depth knowledge of NZ legislative requirements in Health and Safety and the relevant supporting Regulations and Guidelines.

I can effectively communicate, influence and consult with all levels of people within the organisation, and have proven results in enhancing worker engagement.

I am extremely focused; I work systematically and strategically and deliver 100% on what is promised.
