Background
I am an experienced Health and Safety professional with over 13 years’ experience across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, oil & gas, and construction. I hold a tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, a NEBOSH International General Certificate in OHS, and a Bachelor Diploma from Texas Tech University (USA).
I have a great in-depth knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant regulations which allow me to identify and successfully manage risks in a complex work environment. In addition, I have a proven record in the reduction of injury rates by implementing simple and understandable practices (SOP) in the workplace followed by continuous safety improvement of operational processes.
As a trusted team player, I always paint the big picture, inspire and drive results by setting out ambitious goals to deliver successful outcomes. My passion and pride in my work are reflected in several self-managing roles with the proven ability not only to build and promote a positive safety culture in the workplace, but also to take it to the next upper Health and Safety level.
