Background

I have been involved in the building and construction industry for over 25 years as I came from a trade background. This has enabled me to have an in-depth understanding of the entire construction process that assists in the delivery of straightforward and practical health and safety management systems.

I can provide services for both PCBU1 and PCBU 2 from compiling SSSPs (Site Specific Safety Plans) for contractors to present to the principal contractor. I enable them to meet contractor policy requirements by achieving pre-qualification or reviewing submitted safety systems for the principal to ensure primary duty of care or due diligence is met and maintained.

I assist in ensuring that health and safety performance and systems are maintained by conducting reviews to identify areas for improvement as well as recording and communicating lead indicators and positive safety performance indicators.

My involvement in client and worker engagement has involved implementing committees through the nomination and election process for larger organisations, assisting or solely conducting team safety meetings as general business, education, and awareness as part of a corrective action process.

 I work closely with existing and new clients to provide cost effective safety management systems, advice, and guidance for all levels of the industry.
