Background
I have a breadth of safety experience in rural, manufacturing, transport warehousing, oil and gas and government sectors. From developing Safe working method statements, and strategic advice at the board and senior management through to machinery safety upgrade programmes, particularly in hazardous environments. I aim to leave a workplace less dangerous than I found it. In addition, I have experience implementing safety systems in large environments using digital tools where possible. As a former HR manager, I understand the key to success is taking people along the safety journey with you.
I am a graded NZISM Member at the professional level after recently attaining my Nebosh diploma, cementing my extensive health safety and wellbeing status. I also hold an honours degree in business, majoring in management.
